May Allah bless Shaykh Musa, protect him, preserve him, and all his loved ones. May He allow his work and efforts to be spread until the Day of Judgement, and make it weigh heavy on his scales.

Today’s topic concerns:

‘Whoever has found Allah, has found everything. And whoever lost Allah, has lost everything.’

How great is this virtuous honor and prestige. Indeed it is a very high status. [That] Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) takes the believer as a Wali, and Aids you in all of your affairs. For if you truly know Allah [then] He will Safeguard you and save you in times of calamities, tribulations, and distress.

[So We answered his call] and delivered him from the distress. And thus We do deliver the believers (who believe in the Oneness of Allah, abstain from evil and work righteousness).
[Surat Al-Anbiya: 88]

If a person truly came to know Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ), He (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) says in the Hadith Qudsi [regarding this type of person]:

"If Allah loves a person, He calls Gabriel, saying, 'Allah loves so and so, O Gabriel love him' So Gabriel would love him & then would make an announcement in the Heavens: 'Allah has loved so and-so therefore you should love him also.' So all the dwellers of the Heavens would love him, & then he is granted the pleasure of the people on the earth."
[Bukhari:7485]

The Heavens are filled with Angels. In the Seventh Heaven, there is Al-Baytul Ma’mur. Since the beginning of all creation, this Masjid is visited by 70,000 Angels every day. They pray in it once and they never return back to it. So how many angels will [be called to] love so and so, whom Allah loves?

In addition, the people of earth will also be pleased with him. [And it all begins] with Allah loving him. So if Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) loves you He will take you as a Wali, and He will aid you in all your needs, all your affairs, and He will guide you to the path of good, and grant you success in attaining all good.

He who loves Allah is the one who has found Allah. Meaning, a person must know Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ), fear Him, and he must fulfill the commitments of Taqwa (Fear of Allah and piety toward him). Taqwa is not words you speak, one must truly fulfill the commitments of Taqwa, like worshiping Allah as if you see Him.

Whoever manifests these conditions [of knowing Allah] within himself, he will see Allah’s promises materialize before him, for verily, Allah never breaks His promise. Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) says:

… And My slave keeps on coming closer to Me through performing Nawafil (prayer or doing extra deeds besides what is obligatory) till I love him...
[Bukhari:6502]

Allah’s love for you will not cease. It will persist and increase with your constant obedience toward Him. A person is persistent with acts of obedience toward Allah, and the more you increase of them the more Allah’s love increases toward you.

The love of Allah toward His slaves varies, it is not one level. Allah’s love for His slave is based on their nearness to Him (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ). Allah loves and hates, these are from the many attributes of Allah that cannot be confined [to one number], likewise His names (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ). Allah Loves, and He taught us to love, like His (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) saying:

قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ‎﴿٣١﴾‏

Say (O Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) to mankind): “If you (really) love Allah then follow me (I.e., accept Islamic Monotheism, follow the Qur’an and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”
[Surat Aal-‘Imran: 31]

This is a lesson for us on how to love. When Allah loves a person, this is the greatest form of love.

Verily, those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Beneficent (Allah) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers).
[Surat Maryam: 96]

If Allah is with you, He enriches you, even if you are poor, and He honors you even if you have no tribe or people or family, and He delights you without any people or close relationships, and He (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) brings you happiness until your heart is fully enriched.

And He enriches you until you travel this earth as if you completely own this Dunya and everything in it, as if you are in paradise. Ibn Taymiyyah (رحمه الله تعالى) said, ‘Whoever does not enter the paradise of this life does not enter the paradise of the hereafter.’

There is a paradise in this life, it is a happiness in the heart. The most precious things lie within the heart of a person. His body treads this earth, yet his heart and soul hangs in the heavens with Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ). This is the life of Al-Muttaqin (those who fear Allah and obey Him), the ones loved by Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ).

If Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) loves a slave, He takes you out from the shadows of sin to the honor of Taqwa. Taqwa is that a person worships Allah as if he sees Him. He will defend you in all your affairs as He says, and Allah never breaks His promise:

إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُدَافِعُ عَنِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ۗ

Truly, Allah defends those who believe.
[Surat Al-Hajj: 38]

He will open your chest to Emaan. Emaan has a sweetness, delight in its taste! Your body treads this earth while your heart is hanging in paradise, this is the happy life.

It is those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah and worship none but Him Alone) and confuse not their belief with Dhulm (wrong I.e., by worshiping others besides Allah), for them (only) there is security and they are guided.
[Surat Al-An’am: 82]

Allah will give you security not only in this life, but the next. The greatest terror (on the Day of Resurrection) will not grieve them, they will not be afraid on the Day of Judgement like the rest of people. You will be secure in this life and the next.

This is from the greatest blessings, Allah will take you as an ally, love you, grant you victory, and aid you. Allah always takes the righteous slaves as His allies. Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) promised to save us. Not just the Messengers, rather those who follow them as well. Like those God-fearing believers who found Allah.

Whoever found Allah, has found everything. Having a pleasant life and security is a priceless blessing.

...And thus We do deliver the believers (who believe in the Oneness of Allah, abstain from evil and work righteousness).
[Surat Al-Anbiya: 88]

He will deliver you from stress, grief, distress, depression, destitution, and a constrained chest.

If Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) loves a believing slave, He will send with you Angels that will incite you to do good, protect you, safeguard you. They will incite you a great incitement to good, and they will keep you steadfast upon the straight path, and the manifest truth. This is Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ).

(Remember) when your Lord inspired the angels, “Verily, I am with you, so keep firm those who have believed.”
[Surat Al-Anfal: 12]

Allah keeps firm those who believed. He sends these Angels to incite you to acts of obedience, acts of good, motivating you to do good - even [when it comes] to waking you up from your dream. If you are from the people that stand in the last third part of the night when Allah descends to the lowest heaven and calls: “Who supplicates Me so that I may answer him? Who asks Me forgiveness so that I may forgive him?”

Every last third of the night, until Fajr. These angels will awaken you in your dream so you may get up from your place of slumber and answer Allah’s call.

Their sides forsake their beds.
[Surat As-Sajdah: 16]

Not only that, they also wake a person up during their heedlessness, for example when a person is heedless of his duties toward Allah [they push them] to fulfill their duties. Allah directs you in your crucial life decisions, and He guides you to the correct path. So, who is there who can help you but Allah? By Allah there is no one and nothing.

Allah is the Wali (protector or Guardian) of those who believe. He brings them out from darkness into light. But as for those who disbelieve, their Awliya’ (supporters and helpers) are Taghut [false deities and false leaders, etc.], they bring them out from light into darkness. Those are the dwellers of the Fire, and they will abide therein forever.
[Surat Al-Baqarah: 257]

Whoever found Allah, has found everything.
And whoever lost Allah, has lost everything.

O Allah make clear to us the truth, and grant us the ability in following it, and show us the falsehood for what it is, and grant us the ability to avoid it. O Allah make us guided guiders, and not misguided, nor of those who misguide others, and to close our Dua, All the Praises and Thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds
